The Virtue and Importance of Hajj

"Hajj to the Kaaba is obligatory for those who can afford it. Those who can afford to go there. And whoever does not believe (and does not go for Hajj despite his power) then Allah is free from need".

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “One Umrah is the expiation for the (sins) that have taken place between the two Umrahs until the next Umrah, and the reward for performing Hajj is only Paradise.” (Bukhari: 1773)

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever goes on Hajj and dies on the way, the reward of Hajj will be written for him till the Day of Judgment and whoever goes for Umrah and dies on the way, he will get the reward of Umrah till the Day of Resurrection. ”(Ibn Majah)
